Steve Bazant is the Managing Partner at Webster Pacific LLC, having been with the firm since 2015. Steve is responsible for managing the firm and oversees both client relations and the Webster Pacific team. He specializes in financial strategy, growth, and operational effectiveness. Steve has experience as an outsourced-CFO for a multitude of D2C brands, though he has also worked extensively serving clients in manufacturing and private equity. Steve earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts. He also serves as chair of the investment committee of the Weatherspoon Charitable Foundation

Thomas M. Paper

Thomas M. Paper is the Founding Partner of Webster Pacific LLC, which was formed in early 2004. His background includes: a) President of Lewis Bolt & Nut Company, a manufacturer of bolts & forgings for the railroads, b) President of Premier Roasters, a manufacturer of private label roast & ground coffee for the major grocers in North America, c) CFO of Mendocino Forest Products, a fully-integrated manufacturer and supplier of forest products to Home Depot, d) multiple years of consulting experience, including work for Bain & Company and industry experience in agribusiness, OTC drugs, publishing, nutraceuticals, internet radio and janitorial equipment. He currently sits on the boards of Lewis Bolt & Nut Company and Mendocino Forest Products. Mr. Paper received his undergraduate degree from Williams College and his MBA from Stanford University.

Veronica Kirgios
Project Lead
Veronica Kirgios is a Consultant with Webster Pacific, LLC. Veronica earned her B.A. in Honors Mathematics and Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame in 2022. At Notre Dame, Veronica worked as a research assistant on projects in data science, pure and applied mathematics, and anthropology. During her senior year, Veronica wrote two senior theses: “The Influence of Grammatical Structures on the Perceptions of Mental Health among Latinx Communities in the US,” and “The Foundations of Cluster Algebras.”

Benjamin Whitman
Consultant
Benjamin Whitman is a Consultant with Webster Pacific LLC. He earned a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education from the University of Maine Farmington in 2013. He is well-versed in Python and SQL and specializes in ETL and data analysis. He helps create and maintain critical data infrastructure and leverages data-driven insights to help clients solve complex business problems. He has worked across a range of industries including retail, education, and non-profits.

William Blomstedt
Consultant
William Blomstedt is a Consultant with Webster Pacific, LLC. William earned a B.A. in Geography modified with Biology from Dartmouth College in 2008 and a M.Sc. in Geographical Information Science from University of Edinburgh in 2014. He has been employed in a variety of fields including an elephant conservation project in Kenya, a grizzly bear population study in Montana, and has worked with honey bees and beekeepers on 5 continents. In 2010 he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study the historical records of honey bee nectar flows in Slovenia.

Liliia Ivanova
Research Analyst
Liliia Ivanova is a Research Analyst with Webster Pacific LLC. She graduated from the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture in 2014 with a Master’s degree in Geoinformation Science and Photogrammetry. She also has a Master’s degree in Land Management and Cadaster and has completed courses on Spatial Data Infrastructure from Vancouver Island University in 2017. Liliia has experience in creating of aerial orthophotos, digital elevation models, performing spatial analysis, and publishing web services.

Collin Smith
Data Manager
Collin Smith is a Data Manager with Webster Pacific LLC. Collin earned a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin. He works on a broad variety of projects including programming and automation with Python, developing automated spreadsheet reports and dashboards, gathering/scraping data, and creating data models.

Dylan Smith
Data Analyst
Dylan Smith is a Data Analyst at Webster Pacific LLC with a strong background in computer science and data automation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from California State University, Sacramento. Dylan specializes in leveraging Python to scrape, organize, and analyze complex datasets, transforming them into actionable insights through models, visualizations, and mapping. He also develops end-to-end Google Sheets applications and dashboards using App Script, streamlining processes and enabling data-driven decision-making for clients.

Jaime Olivo

Jaime Olivo is a seasoned bookkeeping professional with over 17 years of experience in financial management. As a certified expert in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero, Jaime excels in creating precise financial records and optimizing accounting processes. With a passion for delivering exceptional service, Jaime collaborates with clients across various industries to streamline operations and implement effective finance strategies. With a proven track record of success, Jaime is dedicated to helping businesses thrive through meticulous financial management.

Nick Toole
Associate Consultant
Nick Toole is an Associate Consultant with Webster Pacific, LLC. Nick earned a B.A. in Political Science from Dickinson College in 2016 and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Analytics through The Roux Institute at Northeastern University. He most recently worked for the State of Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services, and has a background in the craft beer business. He takes a data-driven approach to problem-solving, and has experience with forecasting, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling.

Betty Sumnikova
Associate Consultant
Betty Sumnikova is an Associate Consultant with Webster Pacific, LLC. She holds a Master’s in Econometrics and Operations Research from the Prague University of Economics and Business, with a minor in Data Engineering. Her thesis compared SARIMA and Generalized Autoregressive Score models for temperature forecasting. She brings experience in business modeling, financial analysis, and data storytelling.

Daniel Kotorri
Associate Consultant
Daniel Kotorri is an Associate Consultant at Webster Pacific. He earned his B.A. in Mathematics and Economics with a concentration in Applied Mathematics from Bowdoin College in 2025. Daniel has experience in data analytics through internships at a nonprofit and a technology startup, where he built data-driven recommendations that informed executive strategy and improved operations. He is passionate about leveraging data and economic insight to solve complex business problems.
